Covid protocols update for the 2022 Australian Short Story Festival – 22 August 2022
The Australian Short Story Festival is currently not mandating mask-wearing, sanitising or social distancing at the October 2022 Festival.
Some writers have asked that people wear a mask for the signing of books, and we fully support this request. Surgical masks will be available for patrons in this instance.
Of course, The Australian Short Story Festival will follow the health advice and/or mandates if the situation changes before or during the Festival, from 28-30 October.
There will be no crowded spaces during the Festival. The Fremantle Arts Centre has many outdoor spaces for patrons, and one of our venues for writers’ sessions is outdoors.
We look forward to seeing you at the Festival!
