Gay Lynch works as an adjunct academic in creative writing and English at Flinders University, publishing essays, hybrid memoir pieces, novels, papers and short stories. Although not raddled by Adelaide, she moved to Melbourne, where she appreciates the literary hubbub. She has recently been short and longlisted for the FISH Short Memoir Prize; has presented and chaired at short story festivals in Adelaide and Lisbon; attended the inaugural Oz festival in Perth; and plans to present at the 16thInternational Short Story Festival at the University of Calabria in 2020. The Irish Studies Association of Australia and New Zealand (ISAANZ) will launch her historical novel in December.
