Andrea is a Melbourne-based writer. She writes on the themes of belonging and identity and is fascinated by the interaction of music, memory and place.
In 2018 Andrea’s full-length manuscript was shortlisted for the Penguin Random House literary prize. She’s been published in Award Winning Australian Writing, Kill Your Darlings, Visible Ink anthology, Maggie: Journal of Live Art, Artshub, The Victorian Writer, Catalyst, and Stereo Stories. Andrea has been the recipient of a Varuna Fellowship and in 2015 she won a Ned Kelly for the S.D. Harvey Short Story Award.
