2022 Opening Night event + first featured writers
Opening night for the 2022 Australian Short Story Festival will be held on Friday 28 October at the beautiful and historic Fremantle Arts Centre. On the night, a range of fabulous WA musicians will tell the stories of the songs they have composed, then perform them. An event not to be missed.
The 2022 Festival is proud to host internationally acclaimed WA short story writer, poet, lecturer and essayist John Kinsella, Melbourne author of the darkly funny collection A Couple of Things Before the End, Sean O’Beirne, and Brisbane writer Fiona Robertson, whose brilliant debut collection If You’re Happy was recently published.
More short fiction writers and storytellers will be added to the program soon – stay tuned!
We look forward to seeing you at the Festival.
