AAWP / ASSF Emerging Writers’ Short Story Competition
Enter your short story to the Australasian Association of Writing Programs (AAWP) and Australian Short Story Festival (ASSF) Emerging Writers’ Short Story Prize for your chance to win a ticket to the Australian Short Story Festival, accommodation for the duration of the festival (maximum value $500) and return economy airfares (maximum value $500).
On top of that, you will receive a one-year membership to the AAWP and fully subsidised conference fees to attend the 2019 AAWP conference, where you are invited to read from your work. The editors at Meniscus will also consider your short story for publication.
Submissions should be previously unpublished and must not exceed 3000 words.
